Access to the Climbing Commons is simple and flexible, with two ways to climb depending on what works best for you.

Annual Membership

    • Unlimited climbing
    • Includes out-of-hours access (early mornings, evenings, quieter times)*
    • Ideal if you want more freedom and flexibility
    • Suitable if you plan to climb regularly
*requires an in-person induction prior to climbing

Pay As You Go (Core Hours)

    • Book a session during core opening hours
    • Suitable if you plan to climb occasionally at the Climbing Commons
    • Create an account, complete an online induction and sign the waiver before y0u arrive on site

Pay-it-forward
£40 per month

  • I can comfortably meet my basic needs
  • I have savings and disposable income
  • I earn above average and able to buy new things
  • I own a home
  • I can afford holidays and regular leisure
Your extra £10 subsidises supported membership and keeps kids entry at £3

Standard
£30 per month

  • I sometimes worry about finances but usually manage
  • I may have some debt but have some savings
  • I earn an average salary or living wage
  • I have some disposable income but watch what I spend
  • I can manage a low cost annual holiday

Supported
£20 per month

  • I regularly stress about meeting basic needs and don’t always achieve them
  • I may have debt, no savings and unstable income
  • I may be underemployed, unemployed or on benefits
  • I rent lower cost property or live in unstable housing
  • I have very little or no disposable income and rarely able to afford new items
